Baker Mckenzie
Baker Mckenzie, a multinational law firm founded in 1949 and the world’s second largest law firm, appointed Merge O+R to undertake the refurbishment works of their Singapore office’s client platform area. The design puts strong emphasis on a refreshed look , enhanced corporate branding and to ensure flexibility of facilities to equip the law firm for various meeting and corporate event setups.
The reception area is highlighted by a sophisticated reception counter and signage wall. Behind the reception space, the breakout area allows for casual interactions outside formal meetings. Overall, the mood for the front of house is bright, and modern, with timber accents adding warmth to the sleek ambiance.
Functionally, the biggest addition is a new, large multi-purpose room with thoughtfully planned operable wall configurations. Comprised of a large training room and two medium sized meeting rooms, the space can be re-configured to varied company functions and events from trainings and leadership meeting to company cocktail nights
Overall the revamped client platform area has enabled Baker Mckenzie to have a future forward front of house befitting its stature as a global law office and allow them to accommodate the changes and challenges the future may bring.
